Our Specialties

Our practice specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth, or their substitutes, and the maintenance of the health, function and esthetics of these structures and tissues.

We provide the following services:

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general oral health who have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason.

Crown Lengthening reshapes excess gum and bone tissue to expose more of the natural tooth. This can be done to one tooth, to even your gum line, or to several teeth to expose a natural, broad smile.

When supporting tissue and bone is destroyed, “pockets” form around the teeth providing a large space for bacteria to grow which can result in further bone and tissue loss. During pocket depth reduction, irregular surfaces of the damaged bone are smoothed to limit areas where disease-causing bacteria can grow. This gives the gum tissue better opportunity to reattach itself to healthy bone.

Regenerative procedures can reverse some of the damage done when bone and tissue supporting your teeth have been destroyed. Regeneration uses membranes, bone grafts, and / or tissue-stimulating proteins to encourage the body’s natural ability to regenerate bone and tissue.

When one or more teeth are lost, an indention in your gums can form, causing the jawbone to recede since it is no longer holding a tooth in place. Not only is this indentation unnatural looking, it also causes the replacement tooth to look too long compared to the adjacent teeth. Ridge augmentation rebuilds the natural contour of the gums and jaw so that a new tooth can then be implanted that is more natural looking.

Soft tissue grafts can be used to cover roots or develop gum tissue where absent due to excessive gingival recession. During this procedure, gum tissue is taken from your palate or another donor source to cover the exposed root. This can be done for one tooth or several teeth to even your gum line and reduce sensitivity.
