Modern dental implants have over 30 years of published research data. With proper home care and professional maintenance, dental implants can last a lifetime for most patients.
Our doctors do everything possible to ensure your comfort during the implant process. Intravenous sedation and local anesthesia provide comfort during the surgery and take-home medications help after the procedure. Most patients report significantly less pain than they anticipated.
Yes! With our Teeth-In-A-Day dental implant process, we are able to remove your bad teeth and replace them with dental implants in just one single day. We have successfully performed this procedure thousands of times and have published our data in multiple dental implant journal articles.
Using highly specialized techniques such as Zygomatic and Pterygoid style implants, our doctors are typically able to provide same day dental implants to patients with the most severe bone loss. Few doctors in the country can perform this procedure, but our doctors do this on a regular basis.
For single dental implants, most patients return to work the very next day after the procedure. For the larger Teeth-In-A-Day implant teeth in a day cases, most patients return to work after a few days off.
Because Advanced Dental Implant Center have in-house laboratory personnel and highly specialized equipment such as Zirkonzahn™ milling machines, our prices for teeth-in-a-day style implant treatment are often 15-20% lower than other centers who must outsource the fabrication of their implant bridges.
Advanced Dental Implant Center offers a wide variety of financing options to make dental implant treatment affordable for most patients. For patients with good credit, we have 0% financing options available. For patients with bad credit, we have 100% approval financing options available.
Through publishing dental implant research in peer reviewed dental journals and lecturing at major implant conferences around the world, Advanced Dental Implant Center doctors have set the standard for teeth-in-a-day dental implant treatment. Our practice uses the highest quality implant products and the latest digital technology to provide our patients with the best value for their money. Advanced Dental Implant Center has helped thousands of patients regain their hope, confidence, and smiles with dental implants.
Dental implants are the best available long-term and natural-looking replacements for missing or severely decayed teeth. They have three parts: 1) a screw-like, decay-resistant titanium post that acts as your tooth root, 2) a sturdy and custom-made crown, and 3) an abutment that connects the two together.

When you’re looking for a professional to place your dental implants, it’s important for you to consider their training, experience, and results. A board-certified periodontist, our own Dr. Dan Holtzclaw has undergone an additional 17,000 hours of training beyond dental school in procedures including dental implants. He has successfully placed over 5,000 dental implants in his career. His expertise is such that he’s an in-demand speaker on the topic.
Our highly credentialed and experienced periodontist and oral surgeon have been able to place implants with patients who’ve been turned down by other practices for insufficient jawbone mass. We’re trained in bone grafting as well as specialized implant placement procedures, enabling us to provide excellent results for patients with extreme bone loss.
For those replacing a full arch of teeth, our Teeth-in-a-Day full arch dental implants technique involves us placing four to six biocompatible titanium posts into your jaw. If you’re having single implants, we place one post for each tooth being replaced. These posts become a permanent part of your body as the insertion sites heal. We’ll fit you with temporary crowns (or restorations) the same day as your dental implant placement, allowing you to resume normal, comfortable eating and speaking almost immediately. At a subsequent visit we’ll place your final restorations.
Consultations are free with us and include both a CT scan and a clinical examination!
You will spend most of your appointment time speaking directly with a doctor who genuinely cares about you and will answer all of your questions. You don’t have to worry about dealing with any high-pressure salespeople.
Many factors determine your final dental implant cost, such as the number of implants and any related procedures you may need such as tooth extractions and bone grafting. Come in for a free, personalized consultation so we can better determine your treatment plan cost.
Both our periodontist and oral surgeon can usually place your dental implants in just one appointment. It can take up to six months for your dental implants to fully heal and permanently fuse with your jawbone.
Give them the same care and attention you’d give natural teeth: brush and floss them every day and come to our office for regular exams and cleanings.
Dr. Holtzclaw is consistently rated as one of the top dental surgeons in not only Austin, but the entire country! He has been named “A Leader in Continuing Dental Education” by Dentistry Today Magazine for the past 11 consecutive years.
Advanced Dental Implant Center are part of a professional affiliation of dental implant practices operated by oral surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, and restorative dentists. With the specialized techniques used by Advanced Dental Implant Center, such as zygomatic and pterygoid implants, nearly all patients qualify for same day dental implants from a dental perspective. Prospective patients require an initial workup that includes an oral examination, 3D radiographic evaluation, and medical history consultation. Some patients with certain medical histories may not qualify for surgical treatment. “Teeth-in-a-day”, “one day implant teeth”, “same day implant teeth”, etc. refers to the fact that on the day of surgery, patients will have teeth removed (unless all teeth are already missing, dental implants placed, and a screw retained prosthesis secured to these implants on the same day as the surgery. While this first set of teeth are permanent in the fact that they are secured to the dental implants by screws, these teeth are typically not the final set of teeth as the patient will be allowed to heal prior to the delivery of the final set of teeth. Furthermore, the patient will be allowed to suggest desired changes to the initial set of teeth prior to the fabrication of the final set of teeth. The initial set of screw retained implant teeth are permanent in the fact that they are not removable by the patient and can only be removed by personnel in a dental office. With proper care and maintenance, dental implants can last a lifetime depending on the age of the patient when the implants were originally placed. Studies show that dental implants can last over 25 years with proper home care and regular professional maintenance.
